My last few weeks have been exciting. In fact entire November month has been good for my writing. I give credit to Carlos who is my accountability partner and to other writers who I meet at (ALC) and One of the features of ALC is the amazing “Book Launch tool. I have created many tasks within this tool and marking them complete as I make progress. This alone is making me feel accomplished and wanting to write more. 

I also wanted to share the tools and resources I am using. To write, I have switched to Scrivener and very happy with it. You can download many templates which provides you a structure for your book. It exports (compile) the book in various format. Before I Scrivener I have tried using Microsoft Word, Microsoft OneNote, Apple Pages, and few other tools. What do I like most? 1) ability to switch between pages, 2) Seeing hierarchy of the book, 3) Note section for each page, 4) Idea & Research section which does not get exported and 5) Overall simplicity of the tool. 

I also use MindNode and Scapple to create and visualize the outline of the book. 

For my website and blog –, I am using WordPress on a self-hosted environment. I am using Divi Themes from the Elegant Themes, Yoast SEO plug-in. I also use Google Analytics.
